Painting animals and Birds - Basic introduction to painting fur, eyes and feathers with Mabel Blanco: In this instructional e-booklet, Mabel introduces the new painter to some of her basic techniques for painting an animal’s eye, fur and simple feather detaiols. Each lesson concentrates on one element at a time, such as the simple feathers on the small bird design, fur on the large cat and eyes on the small dog and tiger.

This is a great way for the new painter to be introduced to these techniques. These three lessons have been designed to build on each other. Beginning with a study of the small chickadee bird and flower blossoms, the student will learn the basics of painting short feathers, and a simple bird's eye. Then move on to a more complex study of the Dog and Tiger's eyes and painting short fur. This is an introductory level e-booklet.

Save a copy of this e-booklet to your hard drive or print off a copy of each lesson as needed.

    My Review

I liked to be able to download instead of waiting for it to be sent. The product itself was very good at explaining the process for painting feather an fur, although for someone not that experienced at converting from oils may have problems. All in all this was very informative.
