beautiful subject and easy to paint providing you have good eyesight and can see in terms of values LOL. I felt a real satisfaction when I finished this one.
Looking forward to learning Glenice Moore's technique for starting with a very dark canvas and creating the painting by adding highlights. This design looks to be an awesome head study for someone like me, who has never painted animals or portraits of any kind. I hope I can impart the horse's soul through its eyes like Glenice has done. Its eyes speak volumes to me . . . wild and free! Hope she releases some of her gorilla paintings as pattern packets.
