William the Sailor Boy - Painting Pattern by Neadeen Masters, CDA
This painting pattern was created for the beginner to intermediate painter. The painting techniques are very simple and include simple floated color, washes, transparent glazing and liner work. The background in this painting is applied in a semi-watercolor style using washes with a large flat brush; this builds each layer until the depth of color is achieved. This is an excellent lesson for learning to brush-mix from a limited palette of colors. If you have a little boy in your life, this might be the perfect painting for you. The color of the hair can easily be adjusted to suit your subject.
This e-packet comes complete with many step photographs and graphics, line drawing and extensive detailed instructions for the artist to paint along with.
