Darling Christmas Toys on a wooden sled - perfect for holiday decorating or gift giving!   In this class you will learn a fast, easy and very effective way to dry brush for a perfect value under-painting!  Its a technique well worth trying!   This cute design can be adapted for many different surfaces and would also make a great wall hanging.  The painting surface is 4 1/2" by 18" and can easily be adapted to any size you want.  The overall length of the sleigh is 24" and it can be purchased online from Hofcraft.

The class has 4 hours of video with everything explained and demonstrated as you watch this cute piece come to life.  Line Drawing and written prep instructions are provided.  Photos of the underpainting are included as well as close up color photos of the finished work.

Palette: DecoArt Traditions™ Acrylic Paint - This is an artist grade acrylic that is very pigment rich, of medium viscosity and uniform consistency. Any similar artist grade acrylic can be used.

• DecoArt Americana “Triple Thick Gloss Glaze” is great if you want yours to have a high gloss shine on your finished piece.

Brushes: – I used the Decoart Traditions™ line of brushes and recommend them, but any similar
brushes can be used. You will need round brushes and flat brushes that are in excellent
condition.
1 ½” Large flat brush for sealing the wood and for applying the base coat of color.

If you  would like a little texture on the surface - roll the paint on with a small sponge roller.
