How is the Class Presented?

The Hummingbird was important and well performed--good instruction and technique, but the tropical composition was very important to me, very similar to Martin Johnson Heade's work--not as detailed but a good beginning point for me. I have to start somewhere and this is a very good method.
The moss, vine, trees and background paint and color techniques were well demonstrated.
I did substitute another green for pine green--couldn't find it locally. I think titan buff is a good replacement for the off-white ("mixing white").

This online painting class is excellent. Gaby your teaching style is relaxed and made everything so clear to me. I enjoy the lesson and feel confident about how to paint a bird. For some reason painting birds scared me! Now I am wanting to paint them all the time. You made the bird seem so simple once we got started. Thank you for presenting such a good class.

I loved this painting the minute I saw it advertised. The colors are so soft and captivating.
