Learn to Draw with the The Fundamentals of Drawing Level One - Learning Drawing is a valuable skill for the artist. It helps them understand line and form. Many of the Old Masters perfected drawing and used this skill extensively as a precursor to their art. This indepth beginning drawing course is for the beginner or novice and/or intermediate artist. This introduction to drawing explores the tools, materials and techniques of drawing to develop concepts and skills necessary to study drawing. Artist Donna Richards has been drawing for many years and has see the struggles that many new artists encounter with this media. Donna developed this course to emphasize the development of observational skills and she involves students with the creation of basic shapes, form, and texture. Donna's first objective is to teach her students how to see, and to 'draw what they see and not what they think they see'.
