The little green heron is a simple bird study for the novice painter. This painting packet includes several step photos and step by step written instructions to follow along with. The green heron design is painted on an 8"X10" stretched canvas surface.

  • ‘Slip-Slap’ Blending  Technique – 3/4″ flat brush
  • Pat-Blending – filbert brush
  • Floating Color – 1/2″ angular shader
  • Liner Work – #1 liner

This design is painted using a limited palette of colors. This selection makes an excellent starter set for many types and styles of painting. This collection will also be a good range of pigments to get started with if you are just learning to paint.

    I painted your pattern many years ago, this was one of the first paintings I did. You are a good writer and it was easy to follow your directions.
