Folk Art - Tray Painting by artist Gaby Hunter

Tray Painting was made popular by Early American decorative artists. Flowers and fruit with the occasional bird were often used as the design motif. Today, decorative artists create designs that fit with modern color palettes and themes. Artist Gaby Hunter stepped away from the traditional earth colors of browns and reds, yellows and ochers to use the popular color coral.

The design fits the surface choice, however can easily be adapted to fit any surface of your choice. By adding a few extra squiggles and leaves, this design will be beautiful and useful to decorate any furniture piece.
